Took my sister to Madrid and because of her lipoedema she can’t have gluten AND lactose. She ate like a queen.

in Spain we have a lot of celiacs!! everyone has a celiac cousin, a celiac friend, etc i have 3 celiac family members and a couple friends with gluten sensitivities we are a big bread and beer based country we have to adapt!!

My kid’s favourite thing about Barcelona was the gluten free buns at the McDonald’s next to Sagrada Familia. Doesn’t remember anything else from the trip 🤦🏻♀️

Being celiac in a city famous for amazing food is such a weird mix of excitement and fear 😂 half the trip is enjoying yourself and the other half is making sure your meal won't ruin the next two days. I remember struggling with bloating, fatigue and constant digestive drama. Then I came across Eat Like a Woman Protocol, the work of Loren Green, through an online discussion. A few months later I was down 35 lbs, had more energy and felt better than I had in years. Best thing I've tried. Why isn't this talked about more?

Just got home from Barcelona and why I left I will never know. The knowledge was beyond! So comfortable and soooo many options. Was one of the best trips being celiac.

Girl if you came to Spain again, croquetas gluten free in Mercadona their amazing in my Family we eat them normally because they are sooooooo good ( we don’t have any celiac in the Family)

I’m Brazilian, second time I went to Barcelona I was in a 14 hours flight without GF food, because the company change the politics and cancel the GF service. It was 3am when we arrived, I was starving! First place I saw open at the airport had a lot of options GF, I started crying.. 🥺🥰
