Can i ask if using retinal before tretinoin makes it easier to tolerate tretinoin off the bat? Thats been my plan but i have heard that it doesn’t actually.

I use Tret around the eyes 0.025 . But I pay attention to how my skin feels. Only just starting using Tret twice a week.

Oh gawd no lol I’ve been using Tret for 4 years and I can STILL tell when I get to close to the under eye .. I can’t imagine putting it on eyelids! 🥹

Aren’t you suppose to only apply around the orbital bone cause the way skin absorbs it will spread regardless.

I m 22 and using tretinoin Dr recommended me bcz I had so many comedones the comedones which r on my surface r mostly gone but in certain lights I can see comedones clearly and tha chin area is full of subecious filaments I m using dove white bar and niacnimide on alternate nights but they r not going I m so exhausted what m I doing wrong plz let me know

when I hopped on tret, I started with 0.05% no moisturiser and my skin didn't liked it. I was especially using a big amount around my eyes. Eyes used to be gritty and dry. I've reduced the amount now (still 0.05 now) but I also don't get any irritation anymore.
