I really hope they find him soon. Japanese police notoriously do not GAF about tourists and try to distance themselves from anything that would make Japan look bad/unsafe. The family may need to get worldwide media outlets involved to get help. That’s what Lucie Blackman’s family had to do to force the Japanese police to actually help.
