Clan Campbell always has a tent at our Highland Games, they are some of the coolest people. The organizers of the last one thought it would be fun to put Clan Campbell next to clan MacDonald, it was interesting to say the least😂

I really love this vibe and love when people are just like yeah no you’re one of us now. On my third visit to Ireland I finally got to meet some living cousins (it was hard to track them down because my great grandma was convinced all her siblings still in Ireland were dead but surprise! There was one left) and as soon as I met them they all just took turns rotating between whose house we were hanging out at that day, and who was driving us around, and by the time I left after a few days they were like yeah no you’re Irish now. We don’t mean you’re American of Irish decent. You’re just Irish. And my cousin Siobhan was like yea if you ever want to move here I’ve got 10 bedrooms (on account of her 9 kids) so you can just have one if you want. And unfortunately my dad had passed away a few years prior and never got to meet them, but one of his cousins was essentially like, I’ll be your dad. No seriously I will adult adopt you if you need citizenship. So yeah I have a whole backup plan if ever need or want to leave the states and an entire Irish family who just fully adopted me into their immediate family after only knowing me for like 3 days

although my father's last name is Williamson he is a Henderson. a sub-family of Clan Gunn. I don't know if that would technically make us enemies or not; but he disinherited me so I don't know if that makes me a member of the clan still or not
