My face looked like yours for months. I was really struggling mentally and physically. I was using all kinds of TikTok trend soaps and creams and definitely gave myself periororal dermatitis. I went to the derm.. I used sulfur soap in the shower, hypoclorous spray twice a day, and zinc diaper rash cream at night. I stuck with it.. no makeup, no sunscreen, no Vaseline and I made sure to wash any toothpaste residue immediately. I’ve been great ever since! Good luck!

I’ve mentioned this a couple times-but I know the comment section gets inundated. There’s a creator on here who had dermatitis on her face and eventually added zinc to her diet and it’s stayed away.

when i went to my dermatologist he said it was rosacea and rosacea reacts to everything until its calmed down. he said never use dryer sheets. use only free and clear soaps and detergents. no hair products. no makeup for 6 months. not even mascara. and face washing only once a day with soap in the evening with cerave. and in morning only splash with water. he said its about restoring your ceramide barrier, which repairs overnight so thats why you dont want to do face wash in morning. he said alot of people fall for the "natural" products not realizing they are destroying the cermaide barrier. he also said exfoliating is not necessary as your face does that on its own every 30 days. all his advice worked and Im back on track!

I wish my allergist was like that. Mine told me “it’s rosacea” and “ I think you need to find someone that listens to you” and gave me a list of other dermatologists😂 Been going on for 2 years can’t figure it out😪 I feel like it’s better when I stay away from gluten.

Check fluoride in toothpaste. My daughter had it and it took four months to treat. I changed her toothpaste.

Facial tissue!!! Many people are allergic to the chemicals that’s are added to Kleenex and other brands to aid absorption. My doctor said many people are allergic or sensitive to SLS or other chemicals in Kleenex.

Tret and SLS trigged my perioral dermatitis :( I suggest stopping all actives and stripping your skincare down to the basics (cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen). I also suggest zinc cream + supplements as it has helped mines but staying away from tret and SLS has helped a lot. I haven’t it come back since using SLS free toothpaste

hey i have this! i’ve pretty much cured it and kept it under control by using fluoride free toothpaste (toms), cicalphate cream, no gel x. i also lay low on added sugar

I stopped painting my nails and toenails, also certain toothpastes and topical creams that contain steroids would cause my PD to flare up. Good luck! 💓

I thought I was using gentle products but Apperently my “gentle” moisturizer had ceramides in it 🥴 and I’ve had pod for 6 months. It’s finally getting better 🤞 now I only use dove sensitive bar soap on my face and honest excema moisturizer with colloidal oatmeal.
