when phil saw clark on the tv he didn’t react because he saw clark himself but because he saw him in the pirate costume which the clarks entity is in (they have probably known about clarks still life from the start but couldn’t explain why he is in that costume; and also the backrooms are in the past, present and future which would also explain that)

i rly hope we'll get a confirmation whether Pirate Clark is a Still Life or a Lifeform. Still Life dont rly have personality and not even a close copy to the original, a Lifeform CAN have a personality, very aggresive, a near-perfecf copy as shown in the Pitfalls episode.
