he loved her but he loved his country more.. his mission was more important than anything.. but he quickly realized what he was about to loose when his identity got revealed to Yalina.. he realized how much she cared for him and how he took it for granted.. i think he didn’t expect that Yalina would support him after the truth.. he tried to amend it but it was too late.. he lost both of them because at the end of the day whether he loved her or not he still used her for his mission’s benefit.. their love story was tragic and had short sceeen time but there are so many layers and conclusions we can draw from them.. also i am happy the director decided to give Yalina closure about who Hamza really is.. she deserved to know because that girl was literally his backbone.. she saved him at the end so he could go home..
