The reason these type of app blockers don’t work for me is because I don’t even know I’m reaching for my phone and then 20 minutes later. I’ve just been scrolling for no reason. App blockers are awesome, but some of them are too easy to dismiss. MeditationLock forces you to meditate for a minute so you can contemplate the reason you were drawn to your phone in the first place. It’s essentially replacing a bad habit with a good one.
