@fiftyfitnessjourney: I’m finishing up a small period of being in a calorie deficit leading up to a Photoshoot (it’s tomorrow!) Here’s a recent full day of eating at 1,600 calories which is what I spent several weeks of this cut at. My strategy when in a fatloss phase is: • I make sure to eat foods that both make me feel good and that I truly enjoy so I don’t feel deprived • I focus on foods that help me feel feel full • I eat basically the same food every day…which helps guarantee success and takes the mental fatigue out of it. Here’s what I ate on repeat: • Protein pancakes with Egg Whites and Cottage Cheese mixed in for an extra protein boost. Topped with various berries and often Pistachios. (I also love to include a bit of lemon juice and zest into the mix for added zing!) • Cream of Wheat with Egg Whites topped with Berries and Sunflower Seeds (or Pistachios) plus Turkey Bacon on the side. • Southwest Bowl with Chicken Breast, Amy’s Refried Beans, Tomatoes, Guacamole (or Avo) and Hot Sauce. • Greek Yogurt Bowl with Kiwi (I eat a Kiwi every day! Helps with gut health and regularity) plus Sunflower Seeds. • Lowfat Ground Beef with Yam, Veggies and Pickled Onion. Hope this provides some meal inspo!
