"Where is kratos, where is kratos." Guys it'a a spin off with Laufey, he will be involved, but it's a spin off where she is the protagonist. Take Infamous, second son was a BANGER but didn't had Cole as the protagonist despite being a spin off. We take it a bit more with first light, where the protagonist is Fetch and not delsin. The title has "God of war" in it, because it is a story that interlocked with Kratos but the protagonist isn't him.

I have a feeling that the cube is gonna be some big reveal character but they are stuck as that “cube” until later in the story
