Umm I’m from NW Montana and I will try just about anything. I just don’t like my foods touching. I’m weird I know. Um so it’s like a rue but with cocoa powder?? I love me chocolate! But why the biscuit?

i grew up as far west in ky as you could go. chocolate gravy was special occasions only, served on toast or biscuits depending on what was available (never on pancakes). and it had the dry fried in 2 tbls of butter before the milk was added, rest of the stick at the end like yours.

My family is from southeastern Kentucky. This was my favorite breakfast growing up, served over Bisquick drop biscuits, with bacon and fried potatoes on the side. ❤️❤️

I never had chocolate gravy but had chocolate sauce many many times. The same consistency and it’s almost the same. The only real difference is you put in flour which makes it gravy and we did not use flour so it became a sauce. Either way, absolutely delicious!

I had never heard of chocolate gravy, but we used to eat hot chocolate pudding over buttered bread. it was delicious so I would definitely try chocolate gravy.
