Not to be that guy but if you’re in any kind of business, no matter if it’s a grey suit, navy suit, or even a black suit, you only should wear black shoes, preferably oxfords. Brown is fine for after business hours for certain suits.

Let me know if you spot my son. It took me several months to get him to buy a belt that matched his shoes and I want to make sure he’s wearing it. He was also supposed to get his shoes shined before his first day. Not sure that one happened. But he did send 9 shirts to the laundry, so at least he’ll have pressed shirts.
