It’s cause ya’ll are making them too long, cut them at an angle where the beginning is shorter than the end (like a layer is that makes sense) and don’t use gel use MOUSSE!

I suggest the smaller edges brush instead of the one you’re using cause it really helps you style the edges how you want but the long one just grab all the hair at once when you swoop it

stop using gel…use mousse and melting spray…mousse to mold…melting spray to hold or use got2b spray and also they are to long cut at a angle short at the front a lil long at the bottom flat iron then and curl the before lying down
