As an educator for 10+ years, exposing your young children (0-3) to fun literature that includes skills like learning the alphabet is FAR more important than teaching phonics. Also, my 3 year old understands phonics, phonemic awareness, and the alphabet, and we own books like these.

I really like the finger tracing, I’ve never seen that in a kids book. Which lowkey is crazy, because it improves motor skills !

Be careful with your little ones, starting them on phonics so young… I got hooked on phonics back in the 90’s and haven’t been able to quit them since 🤷♂️

I don’t see why you wouldn’t just get a phonics book…some letters have different sounds yeah but ALPHABET books are to primarily teach them the letters.think of it like learning mandarin if you don’t know the letter, you don’t know the rules (i before e, etc), then you don’t know the sound.
