nail tech here! make sure all of the polishes you’re using are gel if you’re curing it! if it’s in a glass bottle it’s 100% an air dry polish meaning it isn’t curing when you put it in the light!!

If you have trouble with the brush not wanting to glide over the gel (for the French tips for ex.) you can wipe the nail with acetone before you paint on the French tips! It takes away the sticky layer.
