In England stolen property is still the property of the original owner. This is if a store innocently buys it or a person innocently buys stolen property innocently. Title in England will always remain with the original owner. If recovered the owner gets it back by law or the insurance company if property has an insurance payout for the loss

I feel since this story is so popular and it happened to a sick person trying to do right I sure a gofundme would benefit this situation way better and less time not saying give up trying but hopefully it would give the family more peace of mind I hope and pray there's justice here and karma will get that bizz I'm sure.
