My ancestors are from Kutch, it was once part of Sindh and later became a princely state. There was a battle fought over it and a ceasefire has been in place since 1965.

The Radcliffe line was the most detrimental for heavily Muslim populated areas. This resulted in exceptionally high Muslim deaths in those regions. The regions of Gurdaspur and Ferozpur were announced last minute, to become a part of India. This played a huge role in Kashmir being divided also. As far as the princely states not joining, they were of no significant consequence to Muslim lives. Free Kashmir!

in India we've been thought the colonizers were to blame for our slavery when the truth is the princely states and independent kingdoms invited the and played a big role in colonizers taking over entire India. of course we don't want to accept that
