@emilywkingphd: Save this video for back-to-school! After years of helping clients and my own kids with organizing binders to reduce stress, this is the system I’ve found to work the best. As a parent or teacher of a neurodivergent learner, you will have to sit down with your child and show them how to use this system daily until they can do it on their own. Start here: 1. Pair daily binder organization with a preferred experience like a yummy snack or favorite music. 2. Pull all the crumpled paper out of their backpack and have them show you which class it goes with. 3. Organize the binder and then take a break. Just doing this part is hard work! You’ve got this!
