Yeah so in computer science school we had this phrase, "well why dontcha throw more hardware at it" to make fun of people who wrote really bad, really inefficient algorithms that were just so hopelessly bad that there was no helping it. Mind you, computer science is the study of algorithms -- step-by-step recipes to solve a problem. And the chief goal of software engineering is to pick algorithms that will handle a particular application as efficiently as possible.

Trump issued Executive Order 14318, titled "Accelerating Federal Permitting of Data Center Infrastructure". It is designed to rapidly build out large-scale AI and national security data centers. The EO directs federal agencies to ease regulatory burdens and streamline environmental reviews for "Qualifying Projects". Note the word "Accelerating". That's all we need to know.
