As a GSM of a dealership, I certainly don't take issue with your content, I take issue with you making it sound like EVERY dealership operates under the same shady policies, and that's just not true. Every new car on my lot is invoice-hold back, and then minus a little more. I do in fact have a small dealer ad that is clearly advertised in my online price and has been long before the FTC crack down. I send out the door prices to customers all day without hesitation, which will 100% match the price a customer sees online, and most customers are in and out of my store in less than 60-90 minutes when they get here.

I made six figures for 20+ years selling cars. That money came from my customers.

Technology is advanced enough that a customer should be able to either order an existing car online and have it delivered to their house, or go to a car manufacturers website and select the features they want, wait for however long it takes to have the car made, and then have it delivered to their house. If there's a trade-in, the delivery truck takes away their trade-in. Set pricing, all transparent.

Car dealerships hire professional negotiators. Not only that, they GANG UP on average consumers. Why shouldn't consumers hire professional negotiators? 🤔

I do corporate contract negotiation for a living and I absolutely hate dealing with dealerships. I would pay $1000 to not deal with them.

It's like saying Lawn Mowing Companies is a scam. Yes you can mow it yourself. The Companies have mowed so much that they can quickly do a better job and you don't do a thing. Love your company I don't wanna buy a car cause of how crazy it is 2014 Altima paid off and gonna drive till is quits

I bought a car last week that was still wrapped off the boat with the original msrp sticker on the window. No commission sales staff. I got 0% apr for 60 months and all the options were optional. I feel like I got a good deal.

I’m in car sales and I enjoy your content…makes me feel grateful for the dealership I work at. I don’t know how some of the dealers you post are even in business. We are usually under MSRP never over, no add ons, and low doc fees 👀

Im in parts at a dealer that does “no haggle”. I feel like they have sold less cars with this “strategy”. They will not negotiate whatsoever. They charge 10x for a tracking device that costs them close to nothing and wont take it off because they are “no haggle”. I truly hate it. For me in parts, I sell pretty much most of my stuff at MSRP and it has done me very well and when people ask for a discount because they see it cheaper, i’ll do it. Guess what? They come back EVERY time. You don’t have to put excessive mark ups to make money, just gotta know how to do it.
