We make this but we use two cups of rice and we add two small cans of mushrooms with the juice. And 1/2 stick of butter. Its a staple at every holiday dinner. We use two cans of french onion instead of the consomme. Sooo good!

Do people not realize almost all restaurants they eat at do NOT wash their rice?? You’ll be fine 🙄 washing rice is to remove the sticky starch not to “clean” it so if she wants the starch in this recipe then she won’t wash it. Get a grip
