WLA native here… notice how that “best hamburger in southern california” signage has no date on it!? it’s from a KABC radio host review in the late 70’s/early 80’s and that “review” and “best burger” sign tagline is at least 50 years old. That sign has been misleading the unaware for a long time!!! 😉😆

Around the corner was a bar called Gabe’s used to drink there walk over to HH for a burger. Never had it sober but they were great as a drunk meal
