The Quran was first revealed on Laylat al-Qadr, when it was sent down in full from the Preserved Tablet "Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz" to the "House of Might" in the lowest heaven. After that, it was revealed in parts "piecemeal" to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ over 23 years. The Prophet Muhammad arranged the verses as Allah showed him, until the revelation of the Quran was completed. Thus it became what it is today, with its beauty, precision, and greatness.
