I don’t have talents nor passions that I want to pursue. Nothing catches my eye or heart. There is no other reason people notice me than my grades. People draw better than me. They write, sing, play better than me. My academic achievements are everything I have. I can’t loose it. I just can’t. I WILL be a failure if I do. I have to be something great. So, no, don’t tell me it’s just a grade because it is not just a grade. It is the only thing I’ll ever have in this world.

For real, especially when my professor announces it to the whole class. I hate it when they come up to me and tell me my rank, then say I need to work harder to make it into the top five. It just puts me on the spot and makes me feel uncomfortable.

Its weird sometimes how I will get straight A's and my mom wount care but when my sister woule do the same she gets praise...my sister has gotten A's before....even when her grades dropped this year she still praised her...My friends call me smart and praise me..so does my dad....I am not worth anything to my mother but I will be to my friends and father
