Being brutally honest we all need our iPads taken away. Can you imagine how good it would feel to not be connected to our cellphones 24-7? To not be fed content in 30 second clips constantly? Might actually feel normal again.

As a teacher, you are giving your kids so much more!! An attention span longer than 5 seconds, social skills, creativity, a bigger vocabulary, problem solving skiils ect!! It's obvious to us which kids sit on technology the majority of their lives. Keep it up!!

I was at disney last week, the number of kids in strollers looking at iPads was crazy. There is so much to look at and enjoy at disney. No screens needed!

I was brought up on Vtech laptops as a kid and I was generally one of the smarter kids in class. As long as you do things like reader rabbit (learning) games then kids will succeed. It's up to parents to understand the difference. There are too many brain numbing games lately.

We got her a portable DVD player and case for reeeaaalllyyyyy long car rides. She loves it. Only used it a couple times though.
