Alvarez showed up unannounced at the FoodMaxx on Niles Street around 2 p.m., where a long line formed outside the store. The meet-and-greet was limited to the first 100 shoppers. "I've been out here since nine in the morning. I was first in line, so been out here a bit, but I'm really excited," said Alondra Moreno, a Canelo fan. "You know we had to come, show our support for Canelo, he's the best one out there," said Andrew Lopez, also a fan.
