I was definitely on that needed to lose weight. I had already built muscle mass. I've loat 130 on Zepbound. & I dont see where I've lost any muscle mass. you HAVE to keep you protein intake up to protect your muscle. its not a miracle drug & requires work to protect your body.

What we ar missing from hop prescriptions is working with a nutritionist to ensure that they are eating a balanced diet and not going into to much of a calorie deficit. I had already gotten my diet in order and was someone controlling type 2 when I started so of my 45 lbs of weight loss only 5 was muscle. They doctors were so happy as am I

I needed to lose 30lbs. Took GLP-1, lost the weight. Off GLP-1, weight all came back. I’m 58. Hard to keep weight off unless I want to eat like a rabbit forever

I love it to maintain my weight at the top of my "normal" BMI. NAFLD runs in the family, as does several types of cancer, and heart disease. I feel like managing this is reasonable, using low dose only.

I’m curious how controlled the studies are with regard to food & exercise (specifically cardio AND resistance). If someone is on Reta and not hitting their macro targets, specifically protein, and they aren’t doing both cardio (can be walking) AND weight lifting they will absolutely lose those things. If they aren’t willing to do that then they are going to get mixed results.

it was worth all the bad possibilities for me! not only was i morbidly obese, but I was also suffering daily migraines. turns out the GLP-1 (specifically trizepetides) has been the ONLY thing to help my migraines! I have reached goal weight but I stay on maintenance dose.
