@brandymc80: Here’s the timeline I see: (Chat GPT) * Defendant indicted: February 21, 2025 * Arraignment set: April 30, 2025 * Defense attorney appointed: May 1, 2025 * Discovery exchanged by both sides. * Defense filed a motion to continue on July 18, 2025 (“D001-CONTINUE FILED”). * The court granted it the same day and moved the settlement docket from July to September. * Multiple defense attorneys later withdrew: * Amanda Rae Tello withdrew in October 2025. * William Glenn Mathews withdrew in December 2025. * Meghan Wynn appears as defense counsel afterward. * Discovery continued to be exchanged through December 2025. * Several settlement dockets were reset: * July 23, 2025 → September 24, 2025 * September 24, 2025 → December 17, 2025 * December 17, 2025 → March 25, 2026 * March 25, 2026 → May 20, 2026 * Then the May 13, 2026 order continued the case again to July 8, 2026. From the docket, the most likely factors are: 1. Changes in defense counsel. Two attorneys withdrew during the case. New attorneys often need additional time to review discovery and prepare. 2. Ongoing discovery. Discovery filings continued months after the indictment. 3. Settlement/plea negotiations. The case was repeatedly placed on a “Settlement Docket” rather than immediately scheduled for trial, suggesting negotiations may have been ongoing. 4. Court scheduling. Sometimes cases are reset simply because the court’s calendar is full or another matter takes priority. One thing that stands out is that the July 2025 continuance clearly originated from the defense (“D001-CONTINUE FILED”). After that, the repeated resets and attorney withdrawals suggest the case was still being worked toward resolution rather than moving directly to trial. @SARAH!!!! @꧁🌼ღ𝓜𝓲𝓼𝓼𝔂︎ღ🌼꧂ @🫦🫦Tolley🫦🫦 @You Can Call Me Rhonda @Bama26 @NOVAS BACKUP🍺🚲🐾🫂

So I work for defense, attorneys, and the real reason it’s probably being continued and why she’s going through so many attorneys that she’s not paying them and if we don’t get paid, we are able to withdraw, but that’s a whole separate filing to withdraw and that takes place at the court, which causes the case to get continued then when she gets new council, the case gets continued again so that they have time to review discovery and try their hand at settling and to me that sounds like it’s her defense mechanism to keep from going to trial. And she’s gonna keep doing it until the judge finally get sick of it and tells her they’re gonna move forward regardless.
