I went through physical therapy to learn to walk. Sometimes it’s a confidence thing not knowing if you trust the prosthetic. After the first couple of sockets they started doing the process that makes your sockets on your leg. I got spoiled with that. It’s all done in one go. Be patient with it, it’s a process!

you should look into getting an ethnocare sleeve its great especially with your first socket the size of your limb will change constantly!

I'm going through the same thing, but they made my socket with a 3D printer, my prosthesis just measured my stump, took some photos, I've got a temporary prosthetic right now, my permanent one will be in a couple weeks, the temporary one hurt, so my prosthesis adjusted it a little, it feels a little better, not able to walk on my own yet, but 8m practicing every day.
