all it seems the backrooms makes the lights glitch at night when he’s drunk and staying up watching tv, so when it’s scanning him in some way and creating him the backroom, most of the information of him is in his worst state and representation of himself

Captain Clark is from higher up in the backrooms where there is more detail, he likes wandering the backrooms and eating ppl cuz the real Clark does. Clark never changes and finally becomes a victim of his own behavior.
