What sends people to hell? Jesus Himself warned us about four things. First, rejecting Christ. Rejecting Christ does not only mean saying that you do not believe. What is even more dangerous is saying with your mouth that you believe in God, but never allowing Christ to truly enter your life. Jesus said: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 KJV, True faith is not only acknowledging who Jesus is. It is being willing to let Him become the Lord of your life. Second, rejecting true repentance. Repentance is not simply saying: “Lord, I am sorry. I was wrong.” True repentance will always bring real change. You begin to turn away from sin and stop making excuses for it. When you fall, you are willing to turn back, and your life begins to show evidence of change. Jesus said: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3 KJV, Third, allowing other things to become your master. Money, career, desires, and the approval of others can all take God’s place. Jesus said: “No man can serve two masters.” Matthew 6:24 KJV The question is not whether you have these things. The question is: What truly rules your heart? Fourth, knowing the truth but still choosing to live in sin. The greatest danger is not that you have fallen before. It is knowing that something does not please God, yet choosing sin again and again, and even telling yourself: “It is fine. God will forgive me.” Jesus did not come to give us excuses for sin. His warning is calling us to turn back today. The warning about hell is not meant to frighten you for a moment. It is meant to lead you to repent now. So which road are you walking today? If this message is reminding you, write in the comments: “Lord, please guide me.” If you want to understand more deeply what the Bible teaches about repentance, salvation, and a transformed life, and find the path forward, you are welcome to contact us through the link in my bio or through the WhatsApp number shown on the screen.
