My vet doesn’t do this with me. I think the last ivf bag I paid for was $15. You have to find traveling vets that do private practice not for a company.

That's a $10 bag of Lactated Ringers and a $3 IV line... probly $3 for a dozen 18 gauge needles. We buy it by the case. Chewy dot com has it. Ask your vet for the RX.

I've done hospice for a rescue group, she lasted years with subQ, meds and prescription food. I know how much they paid with their rescue discount. I spent on my personal dog thousands so I feel you. sending prayers

Get a prescription from your vet. It's only $10 online. Your vet has a ridiculous mark up. My vet office is $35, but I still get a prescription. Better yet, my vet is partnered with a pharmacy so I can order it from them.

Get an RX and order online. Overhead for a veterinary hospital is insane. They are the PCP, Specialist, lab, pharmacy, surgeon, imaging center all wrapped into one. If your normal doctor had all of that, you’d be paying triple that if you were self pay. I hate seeing stuff like this because people don’t realize how expensive it is to run a veterinary hospital.
