This build reportedly used a cast-iron S14B25 2.5L block that Köhler Racing bored over to 2.9 liters. Correspondence from Köhler Racing is included in the gallery, and it highlights a billet steel crankshaft connected to forged H-profile rods and forged pistons, custom camshafts, and a ported cylinder head with 39mm intake and 33mm exhaust valves. A tag on the CF-EP airbox indicates that it was produced by Wethje GmbH in 1989. The induction setup also incorporates four individual carbon runners and 48mm slide throttle bodies.
