Nicknamed "Ötzi the Iceman," he had been preserved in ice for more than 5,000 years, making him one of the oldest and best-preserved human remains ever found. Scientists were even able to study his clothing, tools, tattoos, final meal, and the arrow wound that likely caused his death.
