Characters and their relationships were DESTROYED this season, the only characters that acted like they both KNEW and LIKED each other at the same time were Maddy and Cassie. Everyone else felt like they were flanderised (I mean so did Cassie but like it’s bad when she’s one of the characters with the most “depth” this season)

if sam was a good writer he would write about spirituality as a whole and maybe that's what people are missing. they showed people actually caring for each other being the big thing not just colliding into each other. the show is about the selfishness of youth and our inability to contemplate our mortality.
