I don’t understand stand “tokens”, cause why are business using Claude Cowork instead of like a private ai machine. I would assume a private ai machine using like OpenAI wouldn’t use tokens.

Essentially it looks like his company is a hiring platform and they have built AI agents that do the interviews and candidates have to do assessments and then match you with opportunities on the platform, they don’t salary anyone because they probably don’t have enough revenue lmao, it’s a web app using a couple of agents to do recruitment and placement work, like an Indeed run by ai agents

I assume they are spending on tokens via API on a variety of models, so there’s no lock in, and riding herd on those by simply monitoring usage. Increasingly open source models sip token costs compared to frontier leading models like Claude. You can run a Hermes agent or a multi agent plane on much cheaper models effectively. I’m running a Hermes agent and over the last two weeks I’ve spent about $3 total. Now granted I’m not asking to do a lot yet, but you can see that even if I do I’ll be spending maybe $30-50 a month for a lot of tasks done by this one agent - and the open source models continue to close the gap on the expensive proprietary ones, probably one reason Altman and Amodei wanted to get their IPO’s done.
