The movie’s color palette is cool, but ill always prefer the one from the show. Having lots of desaturated colors made it so that when there were saturated colors everything felt overly saturated, it felt true to the essence of mononoke. In the movies, the colors are actually saturated, its no longer just a color theory thing, and because of that it becomes difficult to distinguish whats background and whats not. Eyes get tired quicker and the saturation no longer stands out imo…
