He changed football to what it is today with players fitness being at the forefront of football. There will never be a bigger icon and a clutch player in history. are people still debating this? Messi is a phenomenon, a once in a century talent. the way he keeps the ball plastered on his feet, his effortless dribbling gliding thru bunch of defenders, his inch perfect passes, his close control, his hawk eye vision, his sumptuous finishing etc..is magical. he is strong too. you don't see him diving. i think the only genius who is comparable with Leo is Maradona.
