If deadlifts terrify you, I would tell you this, if you can conquer having proper form on deadlifts, there's no other exercise that you can't learn. Because, contrary to what others might have you think, as long as you moderate the load and perform the movement correctly, practicing deadlifts will leave you with an overall stronger lower back and more resilient body. The most important factor in my opinion to maintain good form on the deadlift is properly engaging the lats by pulling the slack out of the bar before going for the lift. What pulling the slack out of the bar literally means is essentially using your lats to pull your shoulders in a slightly retracted position, which causes the top of the barbell to be in contact with the plates. This way, the top of the barbell doesn't have to make contact with the plate first and cause a jerky rep Which can make you lose tension in your core and cause your back to round. let me know if you guys would like an incoming explanation on this 😅 goodluck and stay safe #FYP #Fitness #gym #bodybuilding
