Watch this before visiting Tulum ⚠️ 🇲🇽🌮 Now don’t get me wrong, I think you can absolutely have a wonderful time here, but you need to be ready to spend a lot of money on cabs and your accommodation, as well as understand that it’s maybe not as dreamy as portrayed online 🙏 Here are things to know before visiting Tulum in Mexico: 🚕 How to take a taxi in Tulum? There is no Uber here so taxis are very expensive. Prices are unpredictable and change all the time 🚲 Is cying in Tulum safe? A lot of people hire bikes in Tulum, but be aware that the road from the beach to the town centre is definitely not safe for cycling. 🛵 How else to get around Tulum? Getting a scooter is probably the best option - just be aware to not give away your passport as a deposit. It’s a known scam 🌯 Avoid the overhyped places such as Burrito Armor and have yummy street food instead. The best roads are Geminis Street and Satélite Street. We ate there a lot and it was very safe 👙 Tulum has beautiful Cenotes. You can cycle to visit some of them from downtown Tulum but will have to pay expensive entry fees plus may get charged for using your own photography equipment - why?! 😔 🏨 For hotels: Kan Tulum was amazing I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. To me it is one of the best hotels in Tulum. Again, just be aware you can only reach it by morised vehicle. 🎉 For nights out in Tulum, these clips are from Day Zero which is an all round jungle once in a lifetime music experience that we loved! #tulum #tulumtravel #tulumvibes #tulumtravelguide #tulummexico 🇲🇽🌮🌯
