@yourcoeliacbestie: Let’s talk about, how being diagnosed coeliac and going gluten-free does not instantly heal your gut. There are a lot of coeliac out here still in pain still waiting for their gut to heal. ❤️🩹💖 #celiac #coeliac #glutenfree #coeliacdiagnosis #glutenfreefoods
In my 20s I was told I had IBS i was always ill migraine that bad I didn't want to be here.
2019 at the age 50 I finally got told I was celiac. it took me few years to believe it i really struggled with the food change. Now I have got to grips with it. however the weight gain has been awful 😖

I’m 58 and I’ve just been diagnosed with coeliac disease. I’m about two months in and I have never felt so well in years. no aches and pains, no fatigue no brain fog no loss of balance nothing I didn’t have the obvious coeliac disease like the bloating and the diarrhoea in the upset stomach nothing like that Just the pain was terrible and the aches, but it’s all gone

Wow it took that long for your gut to heal. Had no idea it can take that long. I got diagnosed on 20th February 2026. I’m still really struggling as I’ve been ill since July this year. Lost count how many doctors/hospital appointment I’ve had and have some more in the next few weeks. Finally having my dexa scan on Tuesday afternoon 💕
