Empathy and morality are embedded in our genetics and have been reinforced through the ages. Early humans survived because they discovered the system of “give and receive” aka you help others and others help you. This simple concept made us the social beings that we are today and every other human or human ancestor that didn’t follow that trend simply died and evolution filtered them out. In short: Morality is an evolutionary trait of humans that is one of the biggest reasons for our success and current status. Saying that empathy doesn’t exist is simply plainly wrong, especially for humans.
