Yes, the vast majority of the Irish PEOPLE (polls suggest 70%+) support the Palestinian cause, but our government remains DEEPLY complicit, to this day. Ireland is IsraHELL's second largest trade partner per capita in the world...US/UK/Israeli warplanes through our (supposedly neutral) airspace and airports...our Central Bank was the European hub for the sale of Israeli genocide bonds for the first two years of the genocide...and despite the biggest peaceful protests in modern history, our government have taken NO meaningful action to end their shameless and INTOLERABLE complicity. Never been so ashamed to be Irish than I am today - we are a vassal state.
