@kelseydeleshaw: Tomato Pesto Puff Pastry Tarts! 🍅✨ Ingredients: Cream cheese filling: 8oz cream cheese, room temp 1 egg 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp garlic powder Tomatoes: 10oz container of mini assorted tomatoes 2-3 tbs olive oil pinch of salt Pinch of pepper 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Egg wash, as needed 6oz jar of pesto Balsamic glaze, as needed Fresh basil, thinly sliced Directions: 1. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, salt, and garlic. Mix until smooth and transfer to a piping bag. 2. In another small bowl, mix tomatoes, oil, salt, and pepper. Set to the side. 3. Using a pastry wheel, cut puff pastry dough into 9 even squares and transfer them to a sheet tray lined with parchment paper. 4. Cut 4 slits 1/2 inch into each square, ensuring not to fully meet at the corners. 5. Brush the squares with egg wash, pipe the cream cheese mixture into the center, add 1 tbs of pesto on top and gently spread. 6. Add 3 tomatoes on top of the pesto and place the tray into the oven. Bake at 375° for 10-15 minutes or until edges are golden. 7. drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with fresh basil.
