abigail was the og girl’s girl. gave molly advice, openly supportive of sadie in horseshoe, the only one who genuinely liked mary, and even in rdr1 she KNEW bonnie liked john and still didn’t antagonize her. she lacked the support of girlhood and she’s trying to be that for the girls around her. she is so important to me.

i really love the fact that abigail is the only girl that liked mary, there are so many parallels between them😭 but imo the timeline doesn’t really add up since arthur and mary separated about 10-15 years prior to the main story, and abigail joined the gang in ~1894, so it’s unlikely that she was able to meet mary and learn about her not just from arthur
