" A 16-year-old Kentucky girl tragically lost her life after allegedly being SHOT IN THE HEAD for refusing to fight another teenager while waiting for her school bus! According to Louisville police, Dannady Greene was waiting at a bus stop on August 25 when two teenagers, identified as Tayon Hassell and Akira Thompson, allegedly arrived in a vehicle to confront her. Authorities say Thompson attempted to fight Dannady, but she refused to engage in the altercation. That's when things took a deadly turn. According to witnesses, Hassell allegedly pulled out a handgun, loaded it, and threatened Dannady, telling her, "You're going to fight them or I'm going to shoot you." Rather than fight, Dannady attempted to run away. Police say Hassell then fired multiple shots, striking the 16-year-old in the head. She was rushed to the hospital, where she tragically passed away on August 31. Investigators revealed that Dannady and Thompson reportedly knew each other and had been involved in a previous dispute. Both suspects, who were minors at the time of the shooting, have since been indicted on murder, evidence tampering, and firearm-related charges. They will now face prosecution as adults. Dannady's family described her as someone who brought love and meaning into the lives of everyone around her. Family, a 16-year-old girl lost her life simply because she allegedly refused to fight.
