@faithandflowwellness: It’s only been a few year since I lost everything. I hit a really tough season, one where it felt like every week ended in tears. Every time an opportunity opened up in my other career, something pulled me away. My kids needed me. My other job needed me. No matter how hard I tried, I felt stuck. But there was a seed planted in me long before all of this, something a good friend had spoken over my life: “Start your own business.” For months, that idea scared me. I battled doubt, exhaustion and fear. But I finally went for it. And on May 19th, after countless late nights and quiet prayers, I opened my own massage business. It’s only been two weeks but it already feels like a door I was meant to walk through. I still have a long way to go and so much I want to accomplish. Today, though… today I’m overflowing with gratitude. For the people who encouraged me. For the mentors who guided me. For every new person who has giving me chance.
