@reinalum: I have no doubts that AGC akan charge the man with reckless driving, tapi persoalannya, adakah an added charge unalive tu akan stick? Especially since yg menyebabkan kehilangan nyawa (allegedly) adalah abangnya yg telah pergi.. Reina hanya explain "roughly" isu undang2 supaya kalau AGC tak jadi nak charge berat2, kita tak kecam tapi paham logik disebalik keputusan.. Apa2 pun kita doa kan yg terbaik & harap2 lepas ni ada steps untuk minimise risiko perkara mcm ni berlaku lagi.. 🙏🏼

The defendant lawyer will argue that the accident that cause death is by the brother and nothing to do with him. They will add he is just keep up with the brother by following him rather then racing. I can foresee this defense team.

1/ Thanks Reina for the eye opening video and raising public awareness! 2/spot on about the mens rea (intent) part proving "knowledge of likelihood" under Section 302 for a road accident is a massive hurdle. Going for murder is definitely a double edged sword and Section 41(1) of the RTA is definitely a much safer bet to ensure a conviction sticks. 3/really appreciate you educating everyone on the legal logic behind this so the public doesnt just react blindly. It definitely high time our lawmakers tighten the laws and introduce heavier repercussions for extreme reckless driving. Keep up the great work!

Too many innocent lives are being lost due to reckless driving. When someone's negligence causes a death, the consequences should reflect the seriousness of that loss. Perhaps it's time to review our laws and penalties to ensure justice for victims and stronger deterrence against dangerous driving.
