Unless this guy speaks pidgin.. but the fact that 5 minutes later a man enters that same room and turnS off 3 MORE (Mschines), then 13 are off. we dont know how many machines are actually in that room which are running.

this is not a conclusive riddle. he said there are 10 machines in a room. they are all off. he didn't say there were ONLY 10 machines. He just specified there are 10 that are off. if a person can enter this room, and turn off additional machines, it would be correct to assume there were more than 10 machines to begin with. so, it would be 13. ijs
