My OB is a man, and his wife is also an OB. When I had my app for the membrane sweep, he had to go in for a c section so his wife ended up doing it. We joked that her dainty fingers were definitely the best option anyway 😂

Hi Emily, I’ve been following you for a while and watched your reels and YouTube videos, and I was wondering: have you ever considered that you might not be as Type B as you think? Have you ever considered that you might actually have some Type A tendencies underneath? Sometimes highly perfectionistic and anxious people appear more “Type B” because avoiding pressure, expectations, or potential failure becomes a way of protecting themselves. Also, when you talk about loving to dive deeply into a topic and analyze it from every angle, that strikes me as a pretty Type A trait as well. Just a thought! 🧡

My births went easy too. My first I gave birth within 6 hours of being in the hospital, and went home that night. My second i gave birth within 1 hour of getting to the hospital and went home 3 hours later. Unmedicated so I could be discharged into midwife care. They’re not all scary!
